This Privacy Policy explains how RoBro ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use RoBro and its associated website and services at robro.io. It applies to all users, including streamers who connect their Twitch accounts and viewers who interact with RoBro in chat.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data — When you sign in via Twitch OAuth, we collect your Twitch user ID, display name, profile image, and email address.
• Chat data — Messages from Twitch channels where RoBro is active. This data is used to generate contextual AI responses and provide stream analytics.
• Channel data— Stream metadata, subscriber and follower counts, channel point redemptions, raids, polls, and predictions. This data is read-only via Twitch's API.
• Usage data — Pages visited, features used, and session duration, collected via PostHog analytics for product improvement.
• Error data — Application errors and performance metrics, collected via Sentry to help us diagnose and fix issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Generate AI chat responses based on channel context
• Produce stream analytics and post-stream reports
• Debug errors and monitor application performance
• Communicate with you about the Service (e.g., account issues or major changes)

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies and tracking technologies to operate and improve RoBro. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or share data with ad networks.

• Strictly necessary cookies — Supabase Auth session cookies (sb-*) are required for authentication. These are essential for the Service to function and do not require consent.
• Analytics — We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog only tracks identified (logged-in) users and is used solely for product improvement. All analytics traffic is proxied through t.robro.io — no data is sent directly to third-party servers from your browser.
• Error monitoring — We use Sentry to collect error reports and performance data under legitimate interest. Sentry traffic is tunneled through our own infrastructure via /monitoring — no data is sent directly to third-party servers from your browser.

We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking technologies. We do not participate in ad networks, use tracking pixels, or share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate RoBro. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Twitch — Authentication, chat, and channel data
• PostHog — Product analytics
• Sentry — Error tracking and performance monitoring

7. Data Retention

Chat data and channel data are retained while your account is active and are used to provide the Service. OAuth tokens are retained until you revoke access or request deletion. Account data is removed upon account deletion. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us using the information in Section 11.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Revoke RoBro's access to your Twitch account at any time via Twitch > Settings > Connections

To exercise these rights, contact us through our website at robro.io. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

RoBro is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
