Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to RoBro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoBro website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by RoBro ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RoBro is an AI-powered chatbot for Twitch streamers. It joins your Twitch chat room, reads and responds to messages, provides stream analytics, and helps manage your channel — all through natural conversation. The Service is accessed via robro.io and operates through Twitch's API.
3. Account & Authentication
You authenticate with RoBro via Twitch OAuth. By connecting your Twitch account, you grant RoBro the permissions described during the authorization flow, including access to chat, channel information, and moderator status. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Twitch account and for all activity that occurs under your RoBro account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use RoBro to harass, spam, or abuse other users
- Use the Service in any way that violates Twitch's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service outside the provided interface
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
- Interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
5. AI-Generated Content
RoBro generates chat messages using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that AI-generated output may be imperfect, inaccurate, or inappropriate. As the channel owner, you are responsible for RoBro's behavior in your channel and may configure, override, or disable its responses at any time. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, and documentation, is our property and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your channel data, chat messages, and other user-generated content remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for changes to Twitch's API, platform outages, or any third-party service disruptions that may affect the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoBro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can revoke RoBro's access to your Twitch account at any time via Twitch > Settings > Connections. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
